Zenobia Harris, DNP, MPH, BSN is the Executive Director of the Arkansas Birthing Project, a mentoring and empowerment program that connects local community volunteers with pregnant women to promote healthier pregnancy outcomes and the growth and birth of healthier babies to women of color. With over thirty years working in Public Health, Dr. Harris is a former director of the Arkansas Department of Health. She is Co-Chair of the Arkansas Maternal Health Advisory Board. Dr. Harris is active on the state and national level, advocating for improvements to maternal, child and family health. She is interested in community based participatory and collaborative models which improve health outcomes in communities of color.
